About the Fraternity of Priests

The Mission of the Fraternity of Priests

The purpose of the Fraternity of Priests is to give priests the vision, the ongoing formation and the support to respond with enthusiasm to the fullness of the priesthood.

The Fraternity of Priests exists precisely to evangelize, form and train priests to effectively respond to what God is doing today through His Holy Spirit.

The Fraternity pursues its mission through its ministry to priests.
We offer priests discipleship and formation, committed brotherhood and support in life and ministry.

The Fraternity of Priests provides strong support for priests, both in their personal lives and for their ministries. What the priest receives in Fraternity, he is prepared to give to God’s people.

The Fraternity desires to help bring about Catholic parishes and institutions that are renewed in Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit and in accordance with the Word of God in Scripture and Catholic tradition. We desire to work in support of and in union with the established heirarchy of the Catholic Church. Together with our Bishops we work towards the renewal of the priesthood and the Catholic Church. In this same spirit we believe we are called to evangelize the nations by living and proclaiming God’s Word “as of a new Pentecost.”

God’s VISITATION today is a unique outpouring of His Holy Spirit “as of a New Pentecost,” calling mankind to conversion in order to establish His Kingdom.

There are currently 34 Fraternities in the United States and 22 Fraternities internationally,
with over 400 members and constantly growing.
They meet regularly to pray together, receive ongoing formation,
share life together,  pastor and encourage one another and to socialize.

Lay intercessors meet weekly in the Chapel at the Visitation House, to pray for the needs of the Fraternity and all priests.

They remember in their intentions the prayer requests and needs of all who support the Fraternity.

We encourage everyone who receives our newsletter to join their prayers with them.
